AhlulBayt News Agency - The Israeli occupation forces arrested 3,182 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, including 821 minors (less than 18 years old) during 2014, an Israeli report said.
The report prepared by the Association for Civil Rights in Israeli, revealed on Friday that 27% of the arrests that took place in the West Bank during 2014 affected minors, at a rate of 72 minors each month.

Based on the data the Association received from the Israeli police, 1,156 criminal files against suspected Palestinian minors have been opened and 1,463 minors were investigated in 2014.
The report added that most of the detained minors were accused of "throwing stones". Based on this offence, 771 criminal files have been opened, and 984 suspects have been investigated.
According to the report, there were 613 detainees accused of what it called "other security crimes", while 349 were arrested for "throwing Molotov cocktails."
Based on data provided by the Israeli occupation army, during 2014, 504 indictments against minors were tabled with military courts. 440 of these indictments were presented against minors arrested during the same year (87% of the total minors).
Data provided by the Israeli occupation army showed that in 2014, minors were convicted after being accused in 490 criminal files.
In addition, the Association for Civil Rights has succeeded in obtaining an additional list prepared by the Israeli occupation army, which details the sentences issued against minors in all criminal files in 2014.
According to this list, "criminal" charges directed to minors were classified into 5 classifications based on the misdemeanor type, namely: disruption of public order, sabotage acts, traffic violations, criminal offenses, and illegal presence in Israel. Most of the minors were charged with disruption of public order in 2014.
